PPP TO DEFEND ITS SUBMISSION TO DISCIPLINED FORCES COMMISSION

The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) will tomorrow 16th September, 2003 at 8:55 am defend its submission to the Disciplined Forces Commission at the Supreme Court Library. The PPP team will be led by the General Secretary Donald Ramotar and will include PPP Executive Members Gale Teixeira, Clinton Collymore, Moses Nagamootoo and Robert Persaud. The People’s Progressive Party had made its submission to the Disciplined Forces Commission (DFC) on the 29th August, 2003. This submission was in response to the terms of Reference of the DFC which inter alia, shall enquire into the Disciplined Forces focusing on and making recommendations for their reform and sustained and professional development and structure, and method and processes of achieving greater ethnic balance.
