THE NATIONAL REGISTRATION

The People’s Progressive Party is very concerned at many of the problems that are being encountered by a large amount of people in getting registered.

Many person are complaining that they are now forced to endure several problems due to mistakes, inefficiencies etc. of the past. Persons are complaining that the registration is forcing them to make changes in their names that can have serious consequences for them in that for all their lives they have been known by one name, they have properties and have been transacting business in that name. Now they are being told that they can’t be registered in the names that they are known by.

The PPP calls on GECOM to re-examine the method that they adopted and make it easy for people to be registered.
